The elioflex – by Ferrania. Milan Italy c1950-1953
A 6×6 TLR that uses 120 film. The elioflex has double exposure prevention, four lens opening sizes and five shutter speeds. The world famous f8 Galileo Monog lens, range focuses down to seven feet and is coated. The lens isn’t famous at all. In fact you and I may be the only people aware of its existence.
It’s cool that Ferrania chose to spell “elioflex” in all lower case letters. Very modest for such a jewel. The elioflex isn’t a jewel at all but it’s still modest.
The sports finder and super fast 1/200 shutter speed is the perfect combo for fast action shots like one-legged soccer games.
The camera produces sharp images. What a jewel !
