This old Dimage 5
doesn't filter out IR light. A check with my television remote
showed it was pretty sensitive to IR so I screwed an deep red filter on
and shot as normal.
Shutter speeds were in the 1/50 range and the lens was close to wide
open in brilliant sunlight.
