The years between 1941 and 1946 were tough. But this
old camera survived and made it to me from New York. It was
rusted shut and took some work to get it open.
I've been having a long string of unsuccessful "found film"
efforts and rust wasn't going to stop me.

Early models, like the one at left, were called "Ikomats" in the
USA.
This one takes 127 film and is well used. I'm sure its original owner
would
be amazed at this camera's travels etc.. The camera came from West
Virginia.

Far and away the favorite snapshot photograph subject is the
child.

important.
