XL 399 CUSTOM DELUXE

 Not listed in McKeown's. I don't remember where I got this camera.

 Was there an XL 398 that preceded this camera ?  What makes it "custom" and "deluxe ?" It sure as hell looks like the crappy Imperial Reflex shown below.  Did you have to pay more money for this ? Why "399" and not "400 ?"  These are questions that will remain unanswered. I'll bet everyone involved with the XL 399 is either taking a dirt nap or putting his shirt on backwards.

I loaded the XL 399 with slightly expired V-Pan 620 and set out to find out why the XL 399 commands such a lofty name.
