I grew up reading Ray Bradbury. I loved his understand of the meaning of summer for boys like me.
While his stories were filled with the happiness that only that  season brings, they were also infused
with strage images of dwarfs, carnivals and unseen monsters drifting through ravines.


Many things I see today evoke thoughts of Ray Bradbury's world. The world I shared with him.




Empty playgrounds echo Ray's stories. They are silent except for the occsional squeek of a swing.
