My friend bought this workhorse some time last year. I brought it
back to life with my amazing skills but I put the lens cap on
upside down for the above photograph.
Someone loved the hell out of this old camera.
I wonder if the 3.5 Tessar was a
out of the original owners price range. The 3.8 was
the middle quality lens. Just ahead of the 4.5.
The camera is equipped with a Compur shutter (1-300.) There was a
Compur-Rapid available (1-500)
Eighty years after its birth this Rollei still works. The 1 second
shutter speed drags a bit. Terrible quality control !
This Rollei was focused a few times I'd say.
There's a brass plug over the red window on the camera bottom. The
bezel reads B2 film 6x9.
I don't know how you'd shoot 6x9s in this camera. The film opening

It's been an easy winter here, thus far. Little snow and warmer
than usual. Still, by February, I've had enough of winter's gloom.
These shots were all done in the gloom.
