The Etyud was produced in Minsk. Exact dates of production seem to be unknown , but sometime between 1969 and the early 1980's, a million and a half of these were made. They are fairly rare today. A fact that can most likely be blamed on the quality of construction.
The camera makes 6x4.5 cm images on 120 film. It has three iris settings (11 16 and 22.) "B" and 1/60 sec. shutter speeds. A built-in strap and a hot shoe.
The camera is held in the "portrait" position to take landscape oriented photographs. It's counter intuitive and weird. McKeown's doesn't list the camera.
