Annie's Farm - Chicopee MA

Shot on a rainy day. This tree farm is caught in encroaching sprawl.

I'm fascinated by decaying industrial sites. They seem to be designed to invoke a sense of dread.

Brick and wooden buildings often needed iron to help support the massive machines of the past. "Spreaders,"  like the one to the right of the window, were tied into floors to help bear the weight of the machine age.

All photos taken in Chicopee MA on Arista 200 film.
