Argus A2 - 1939 - 1950
I get cameras from all over the world but this one came from a yard sale in my home town. It's interesting that it's the same type camera as the "Soldiers Camera" I recently acquired.

The camera wouldn't advance to the next frame and at first I thought it was jammed until I realized there was a roll of film in it. The roll was at the end so I rewound it. It turned out to be a fairly modern roll of Tri-x. It was brittle and I'm guessing it was about twenty years old. The photos are presented in order.

Not a bad shot of an old mill house somewhere. The big thing in the foreground adds interest I guess. I think that's my thumb print in the sky there.

A little more of that big thing and some tilt this time.

The photographer apparently was looking for something but wasn't willing to move much to get it. The big thing has a valve or a wheel of some type.

It's a driven belt wheel unless it was a poorly engineered vehicle. This is actually a well composed photo.

Hell, you could move a little !

This is the last photo on the roll. The rest is blank. I applaud the unknown photographer for his/her adventuresome spirit. The A2 was old even twenty years ago.
Tri-x in Accutol 1:9 for seven minutes.
