This camera is really fun to use. The viewfinder is
bright, the lens stops down to f22 and there's a place to screw in a
cable release. Double exposure prevention and a smelly interior
complete the package. Pick a shutter speed, pick a lens opening, guess
the distance and shoot. Anything over 50 feet is at infinity
The 75mm Varex lens is coated and there's a flash synch. The
argus 40 is a serious amateur camera from the days of cheap gasoline.
