BESSA-L
The extreme wide angle, 12mm Heliar is a difficult lens
to work with. Ansel Adams would have had to rework his damn Zone
System had he
used such a lens.

The exposure system in the BESSA-L does the best it can, I guess. But
there's no way to average numbers like 3000, 1200, 250, 78.3 and 14.
Yes, the average is 908.46 but that doesn't help when you're trying to
spread that number over a 35mm film frame.
Your eye doesn't see like film. Your brain isn't a film processor
concerned with silver density.
I discard many of my BESSA-L/Heliar photos. The ones I keep make me
keep the camera.
